Join us for the 28th Annual Sprint for Life 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the MD Anderson Cancer Center campus in Houston, Harris County! This exciting event not only promotes health and wellness through a spirited 5K run/walk but also plays a crucial role in raising awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research. Since its inception in 1998, Sprint for Life has raised over $5.8 million for the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program, making significant strides in understanding and treating this disease.
The day will kick off with registration and packet pickup starting at 6 a.m., followed by the 5K run/walk at 7:30 a.m. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities, including a Kids' Zone and a post-race celebration filled with food and fun. Additionally, the first 100 ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers will receive free registration, thanks to Ovarcome. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this inspiring event while supporting a vital cause in the fight against ovarian cancer!

Founded in 1998, Sprint for Life has two missions: to raise awareness and research funds for ovarian cancer. Hosted by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Sprint for Life has raised more than $5.8 million for the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program, one of the world's leading efforts dedicated to ovarian cancer research. Funding has allowed researchers to develop new clinical trials, understand the biology of ovarian cancer and develop new therapies for the disease.

We will also let others know you are Sprinting in Spirit by posting your name on our special "Spirit Board".
