This vibrant event kicks off with a 5K (3.1 mile) run, followed by a delightful .11 mile fun dash, symbolizing the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome that make individuals with Down syndrome truly special.
Join us for a post-race celebration featuring live music from the talented Bucktown All-Stars and Parish County Line, delicious food options, and a thrilling jambalaya cook-off. The festivities also include face painting and plenty of activities for the whole family! Remember to wear your craziest socks and bring your energy as we come together to celebrate inclusion and joy. Children aged 3 and under can join the fun for free, so mark your calendars and be part of this unforgettable day!

Organiser's Description
Upside Downs invites you to join us for our fourth annual 3.21 Down Syndrome Dash! We will begin our celebration with a 5k (3.1 mile) run, to be immediately followed by a little extra .11 mile fun dash. The 3.21 total mile run represents the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome that make individuals with Down syndrome unique. After the race, we invite everyone to join us for a huge Celebration with live music from Bucktown All-Stars and Parish County Line. There will be food and beverage offerings, a jambalaya cook-off, face painting, and so much more!
