Join us for the 30th Annual Thanksgiving Walk of Awareness on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Frankfort, Franklin! This vibrant event is dedicated to supporting the Access Soup Kitchen and Men's Shelter, helping to provide essential food, supplies, services, and shelter for those in need throughout the year. As the ministry's largest fundraiser, your participation and generosity are crucial in raising awareness about homelessness in our community.
Participants can choose to join in person or virtually. The in-person walk will kick off from the VFW Post 4075 at 104 E 2nd Street, proceeding down Capital Avenue, around the Capitol, and concluding at the Access facility. For those opting for a virtual experience, you can walk from home or in your neighborhood and share photos of your journey to support the cause. To ensure you receive a commemorative T-shirt, be sure to register by November 7, 2025. Come together to make a difference this Thanksgiving – your support means the world!

HOW CAN YOU WALK? ON THANKSGIVING DAY, PARTICIPANTS CAN CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
OPTION 1: IN-PERSON: WALK THE ACTUAL ROUTE.
- PLEASE NOTE CHANGE!!! - BECAUSE OF THE CLOSURE OF THE SINGING BRIDGE THIS YEAR'S WALK OF AWARENESS WILL BEGIN AT THE VFW POST 4075, 104 E 2ND STREET, FRANKFORT, KY. IT WILL HEAD DOWN CAPITAL AVENUE, AROUND THE CAPITOL, BACK DOWN CAPITAL AVENUE, AND END AT THE ACCESS FACILITY.
OPTION 2: VIRTUAL: WALK THE ROUTE ON YOUR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT, AROUND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, OR AT A LOCATION OF YOUR CHOOSING.
