This inspiring event kicks off with registration at 8 AM, followed by the walk at 9:30 AM. Participants will traverse a scenic 7.6-mile route along the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike and Montauk Highway, returning to The Center for a celebratory lunch. The walk not only honors those who have triumphed over cancer but also supports community outreach and educational workshops for families.
Whether you choose to join us in person or participate virtually from your favorite location, your involvement makes a difference! Registration is just $20 for individuals or a one-time fee of $30 for groups, allowing friends and family to join without additional costs. The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center (The Center) is a community-rooted organization dedicated to serving marginalized East End children and families from Islip to Montauk. The Center welcomes everyone. We share our solidarity with those who have triumphed over cancer or continue to battle it.
Our path leads us southward on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, to Montauk Highway, to the Bridgehampton Volunteer Fire Department, returning to The Center for lunch (7.6 miles total!). There will be stories of hope and survival from community members offering their support and inspiration.
Participation options abound. You can stride alongside us physically or complete a virtual walk at your convenience. Treadmill, track, or a favored trailtake your pick.
Registration is $20 per individual.
If you would like to form a group, there is a one-time group registration fee of $30. Once your group is created and paid for by the group leader, others will be able to join your group free of charge. Please let us know if you run into any issues.
Rally your family, friends, and colleagues to unite, crossing the finish line in honor of survivors and cherished individuals who have passed. The funds generated from this event support our outreach and educational workshops for families and communities. Your involvement goes beyond the walkyour contribution empowers and uplifts.
