Organiser's Description
The run will take place on Saturday, September 16th, beginning at 9 a.m. at the NIU North 40 Course, site of the 2019 Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships. The NIU North 40 Course is located behind Barsema Hall and the NIU Engineering Building on the NIU campus, with ample parking available in nearby lots. A FanFest will take place after the race with food and drinks, sponsor booths and more.
Registration is only $10 for NIU students, College and Highschool Students and $30 for the general public with proceeds benefiting the NIU womens cross country team. An exclusive ticketing bundle is offered for $45 with entry into the 5K and a home football game ticket to either the home opener on September 9th (Southern Illinois) or family weekend on September 23rd (Tulsa). Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal. The top three men, women and student finishers will each receive two upgraded tickets, enjoy a VIP tailgate with complimentary food and beverages, and receive their awards post-race.
