Join us for the 3rd Annual Kentucky Army National Guard 5k & 1-Mile Kids’ Run on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in beautiful Frankfort, Franklin! This exciting event, featuring a mix of road and gravel trails, promises a fun and engaging experience for participants of all ages. The day kicks off at 8:00 AM with registration, followed by a spirited opening ceremony at 8:50 AM. Young runners can take part in the 1-Mile Kids’ Fun Run starting at 9:00 AM, where they will navigate a scenic all-road loop adorned with military vehicles. After the kids' race, awards will be given to the top boy and girl finishers!
At 9:30 AM, the main 5k race will commence, allowing participants to enjoy a unique blend of terrain while competing for special awards, including a Dry-Fit T-Shirt for early registrants, a Finisher Coin, and Winner Plaques for overall and age group winners. Make sure to mark your calendars for this incredible community event that celebrates fitness, family, and fun in a vibrant atmosphere!

PRESENTED BY THE 149TH MANEUVER ENHANCEMENT BRIGADE AND THE KENTUCKY ARMY NATIONAL GUARD RECRUITING AND RETENTION BATTALION.
Cost: Free
Details: Timing Bib/Chip will be utilized. Run is half road, half trail (gravel) for the 5k. A Kid's Fun Run will take place at 0900 that is a 1-Mile all Road Loop. Military vehicles will be placed along the route to identify turns and offer scenery not at most races!
Awards: Dry-Fit T-Shirt (for those that register before 11 August 2025), Finisher Coin, and Winner Plaques for Overall & Age Groups (increments of 10).

0850: Opening Remarks / National Anthem
0900: Start Kids 1 mile race
0920: Kids 1 mile race concludes
0925: Kids 1 mile race awards ceremony (top boy and girl finisher)
