Get ready for the 43rd Annual Black Bear Run on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in the picturesque Engadine, Mackinac! This exhilarating event features two exciting race options: a challenging 12K run and a fun 6K run and walk, both taking participants through the stunning trails of the Hiawatha Sportsmans Club. The 12K run kicks off at 8 AM from Engadine High School, with buses departing for the 6K run and walk at 7:30 AM, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.
On-site registration will be available at Engadine High School on July 3rd from 4 PM to 6 PM and on race day from 6 AM to 7 AM. Don’t forget, all pre-registered entrants will receive a stylish event T-shirt, making this a memorable addition to your running gear! Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, fitness, and the beautiful Michigan outdoors at the Black Bear Run!

43nd Annual Black Bear Run 12K and 6K
The Black Bear Run takes you through scenic trails of the Hiawatha Sportsmans Club. The course is a combination of pavement, gravel
All Runs & Walk start at 8 am. The 12K Run start is at EHS. The buses for the 6K Run & Walk participants will leave EHS at 7:30 am.
On-site registration will be held at Engadine high school from 4 pm to 6 pm on July 3, 2025, and from 6:00 am to 7:00 am on July 4.
All pre-registered participants can pick up their packets at the above times.
All Entrants will receive an Event T-shirt!
Entries received after June 1st, 2025 are not guaranteed shirts.
