The event kicks off with the 5K starting at 9 AM and the 10K following at 10 AM, all from the Backus Community Center.
Join fellow runners and the spirited Gizzard Girls, who will be there to cheer you on every step of the way. After the races, don't miss the Runners Reception and the FYGBR Awards Ceremony at 11:30 AM, where all participants will receive a commemorative participation medal. Plus, fuel up before the race with a delicious pancake feed hosted by the Falls Education Foundation from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, featuring a free will donation. The Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run is the zaniest winter running event in North America! Only the bold run the cold in this famous little northern border town of International Falls, Minnesota [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Falls,_Minnesota] - aka the Icebox of the Nation! Choose between the 5K or the 10K - or if you are really tough....run both. The legendary Gizzard Girls will be on hand to register, assist and cheer on all racers! We hope to see all the runners at the Runners Reception after the race!
