Participants can choose between a competitive 5 Mile Trail Run, where they’ll navigate iconic trails with names like Powerline, Slinky, Mix Master, and Vortex, or enjoy a scenic 2 Mile Trail Hike that is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
Runners tackling the 5 Mile course will need to complete their journey within a 2-hour time limit, while everyone will celebrate their achievement with a Finisher Medal. Additionally, age group awards will be given for the 5 Mile Trail Run, making this event not only a test of endurance but also a chance for friendly competition. Organiser's Description
The Cross-Country Trail Run is the first race in the Huaco Cuatro Trail Run Series. Each racecourse runs through the trails on the rolling hills in Cameron Park. As you are running on trails with names like Powerline, Slinky, Mix Master, and Vortex, you may discover how they got their names.
COURSE TIME LIMIT:
All 5 Mile Trail Run participants need to complete the course in 2 hours. This is a 24 minute/mile pace.
AWARDS:
Everyone will receive a Finisher Medal. Age Group Awards will only be presented for the 5 Mile Trail Run. The 2 Mile Trail Hike is non-competitive.
NOTES:
* Dogs and baby joggers are not allowed on the course for safety reasons.
