Join us for the 4th Annual Cancer Can Suck A Cactus 5K/10K, taking place from October 31st to November 7th, 2025, with the main event happening on Sunday, November 2nd, in the beautiful coastal town of Kennebunk, Maine. Organized by Cancer Can Suck A Cactus, this exciting event invites runners and walkers of all ages to enjoy a scenic route that starts at the stunning Webhannet Golf Club. Participants will have the opportunity to race along the picturesque Kennebunk coast, through charming neighborhoods, and back to the Club, where they can indulge in delicious post-race snacks, refreshing beverages, and receive their well-deserved finisher medals.
This year, the event aims to support vital cancer research, with proceeds benefiting METAvivor for stage 4 breast cancer research, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for pediatric cancer research, and Cancer Can Suck A Cactus, which promotes the empowering benefits of exercise in the fight against cancer. Virtual racers from around the globe are also encouraged to join in, as we strive to surpass last year's record of participants from 19 states and 7 countries! * The course is in the process of being DISTANCE CERTIFIED and we will have PROFESSIONAL TIMING this year!
