The race kicks off at 9 am in front of Cobre High School, with walkers starting just five minutes later. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while being rewarded with delicious tacos at the finish line!
Packet pick-up begins at 7:30 am in the Cobre High parking lot, and there will be same-day registration available, although chip timing cannot be guaranteed. This year’s event will also recognize top performers with awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in various age groups, as well as for the top male and female finishers. With categories ranging from ages 0-9 to 70-79, there's a spot for everyone to showcase their running or walking skills. Don’t miss out on this taco-themed celebration—you’ll be the Taco of the Town!

The fourth annual Taco Run/Walk! Register today for the Run/Walk for Tacos 5k. This event is gearing up to be a family fun event that you won't want to miss. Join us for an enjoyable run/walk down the Santa Clara path and be rewarded with a delicious plate of tacos! Whether you're out for your daily run or just want to get some fresh air, join the Cobre Cross Country team as they host the fourth annual Run/Walk for Tacos. You won't want to miss out. It will be the Taco of the Town!
Race will start at 9 am September 19th in front of Cobre High School! 5 mins after the runners take off, walkers will start their race.
Packet Pick up will be held September 19th before the race begins starting at 7:30 am in the Cobre High parking lot.
There will also be race day registration but cannot guaranteed a chip time.
