You’ll enjoy 1 donut hole before the first quarter mile, 2 before the second, 3 before the third, and 4 right before sprinting to the finish—totaling 10 scrumptious donut holes, with a mix of glazed and chocolate delights.
While this event is all about fun rather than setting Guinness World Records, don’t miss your chance to earn bragging rights! The top male, female, and team finishers will be honored on the prestigious Tap House Wall of Champions. Just a friendly reminder: due to space limitations, it's best to leave strollers and dogs at home. JOIN US AS WE TAKE ON THE DONUT HOLE MILE TO BE HELD AS PART OF OUR 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION!
If you're familiar with a traditional Beer Mile, the donut hole mile is a fun twist for all ages! Run in the same way as a Beer Mile but you eat progressively more donut holes before on each leg... 1 donut hole before the 1st quarter mile, 2 before the 2nd, 3 before you run your 3rd quarter mile and, of course, 4 right before you head out for the last leg of the mile for a grand total of 10 donut holes! Each runner will consume 5 glazed and 5 chocolate donut holes.
Since we don't have a track at the Tap House, our course will be a quarter-mile out-and-back loops alternating directions (starting eastbound) along Ralston Creek Trail. If you are looking to break the Guinness World Record you will need to look elsewhere ... but if you are the top male individual finisher, top female individual finisher or top team finisher, you will earn your spot on the Tap House Wall of Champions plaque!
_Due to congestion in the transition area, please leave the strollers and dogs at home!_
