Get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and fun at the 5K Race for YOUR Mental Health, organized by the enthusiastic Melanie Wilde-Lane! This exciting event takes place on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, in the picturesque Meriden, South Central Connecticut. Runners of all levels will enjoy a beautiful and challenging 5K course through Hubbard Park, featuring a scenic path alongside a lovely lake and a thrilling ascent toward Castle Craig—though don’t worry, we won’t be climbing all the way to the top!
In addition to the main race, we’re thrilled to offer a Kids' Fun Run, where young participants will have the chance to run alongside a Marvel superhero! Every participant will receive a medal, ensuring that everyone leaves with a sense of accomplishment. After the races, families can explore our Health Fair, indulge in delicious food from local food trucks, and participate in a variety of fun family activities. Join us for a day dedicated to mental health, community spirit, and active living!

Organiser's Description
This is a fun, beautiful, and challenging course that will take you through Hubbard Park on a paved trail. You'll pass by a scenic lake on your way up the hill to Castle Craig; however, do not worry, we are not going all the way to the top. This is a great race to get your timing down and start your running season!
We don't want the kids to feel left out; therefore, we have created a Kids' Fun Run where they will be joined by a Marvel superhero. Pictures are welcome, and all participants will receive medals. Following the fun run, kids and family members can visit our Health Fair and join in on the fun family activities and eat at the food truck.
