Join us for the 5th Annual AirPeyton Memorial 5K Walk/Run for Pediatric Cancer Awareness on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, in the beautiful town of Montpelier, Washington! Kicking off at 11 a.m. at Montpelier High School, this inspiring event is dedicated to raising funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which supports vital pediatric cancer research. Participants can choose to join in-person or take part virtually from anywhere in the world.
This year’s event promises a fun-filled day with a spectacular raffle featuring amazing prizes, delicious food, lively music, and of course, refreshing lemonade! Honoring the memory of Peyton Smith, a courageous young man who battled Ewing’s Sarcoma, this event continues to unite the community in support of a worthy cause. After raising over $25,000 in the previous year, we are excited to further engage with schools throughout Vermont and maintain our partnership with Norwich University. Don’t miss out on this uplifting opportunity to make a difference while celebrating hope and inspiration!

The 5TH ANNUAL AIRPEYTON MEMORIAL 5K WALK/RUN for Pediatric Cancer will be held Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at Montpelier High School (MHS) starting at 11 a.m. All money raised will go to ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND FOUNDATION to support Pediatric Cancer research. You can participate IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY! In addition to the race, we will have a spectacular RAFFLE with AMAZING PRIZES, food, music, and of course.... LEMONADE!
This events namesake is a courageous and amazing young man named PEYTON SMITH who bravely battled Ewings Sarcoma for over two years before passing in 2020. Peyton graduated MHS in May of 2020 and aspired to be a famous designer making sneakers for professional athletes. He was truly an inspiration to everyone who met him.
This in-person & virtual walk/run, honoring Peyton, has inspired the local community along with friends and family to contribute in numerous ways. When the 4th Annual event concluded, over **$25,000** had been raised for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! This year, the event looks to increase its partnership with schools throughout Vermont and a continued partnership with Norwich University. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards the overall money raised for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation -- an incredible organization that supports pediatric cancer research and patients.
