Join us for the 5th Annual Purple Light Project 5K on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in Hartford, Connecticut! This uplifting event takes place at the IOL Campus located at 200 Retreat Ave, and it's an excellent opportunity to support our local behavioral health patients while enjoying a fun-filled day of community spirit.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM, so arrive early to secure your spot. The exciting Fun Run for children aged 10 and under kicks off at 8:30 AM, followed by the main 5K race at 9:00 AM. Participants of all ages can compete for awards in various categories, including male, female, and non-binary divisions. Plus, every registrant will receive a reusable water bottle and a commemorative T-shirt! Best of all, 100% of the funds raised will directly benefit patients in need, helping to provide essential resources like food vouchers, safe transportation, and hygiene items. The Purple Light Project (PLP) was created in 2020 to bring support to our behavioral health patients. PLP represent our commitment to serving our patients 24/7, someone is always here if you or someone you know, needs help. Since its inception, the need has grown and PLP strives to bring support to the entire behavioral health system. OUR PATIENTS BENEFIT from food vouchers, safe transportation to a support systems residence, warm winter clothing, dignity and hygiene items or human experience items for while they are in treatment with us.
100% OF THE FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THE 5K GOES TO PATIENTS.
