Join us for the inspiring "6000 Sisters, 6000 Steps for Hope Breast Cancer Walk & Health Expo" on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Dallas. This uplifting event honors the 6,000 African American women who lose their battle with breast cancer each year in the United States. Participants will enjoy a fun and healthy 3-mile walk, approximately 6,000 steps, while celebrating the lives of survivors and remembering loved ones lost to this disease.
In addition to the walk, the Health Expo will feature a variety of exhibitors focused on healthcare and healthy living, providing valuable resources for attendees. Registration is open for those ages 12 and older, with special pricing available until August 8th. Don’t forget, t-shirts will only be provided to those who register by September 1st! Proceeds from this meaningful event support Sisters Network Dallas Inc. programs, including survivor support, screenings, and breast health education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Come together for a cause that’s not just pink, but personal!

Sisters Network Dallas Inc., 6000 SISTERS, 6000 STEPS FOR HOPE, BREAST CANCER WALK AND HEALTH EXPO, "IT'S NOT JUST PINK IT'S PERSONAL" spotlights the 6,000 African American women who lose their fight with breast cancer in the United States each year. This event is a celebration of life for friends and family who are breast cancer survivors, an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer, a chance to enjoy a fun healthy 3 mile (untimed) walk (approx. 6000 steps), and an opportunity to visit with healthcare and healthy living exhibitors.
Proceeds from the walk support Sisters Network Dallas Inc. programs providing survivor support, screenings and breast health education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE EVENT
FEES: Adult $30, Price increases to $35 after Aug 8th
Student (12-18) $20, Price increases to $25 after Aug 8th
_Note: Registration is for ages 12 yrs and older. Children 11 yrs and younger do not need to register_
In Honor/In Memory Signs $25 - special keepsake tributes; purchase by September 3rd during registration or using the In Honor/In Memory menu option
