NEW FORMAT FOR 2026
The Jean Heuschen Memorial Gran Fondo honors the life and passion of Jean Heuschen, a beloved member of our cycling community. Now in its 6th year, this premier Southwest Florida cycling event features a NEW GRAN FONDO FORMAT and a coastal loop to Captiva and back.
We'll offer ride distances of 30, 60, and 100 miles.
KOM/QOM COMPETITION
This year, were excited to feature a King/Queen of the Mountain competition presented by LIPMAN FAMILY FARMS.
* Custom jerseys will be awarded to age-group winners.
* Participants must be on Strava to compete.
* Age Groups: Women: Under 40, 40+, 50+, 60+, Men: Under 40, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+
AFTERPARTY CELEBRATION
When the ride is done, the fun begins! Join us back at the Naples Cyclery parking lot for an incredible afterparty featuring:
* Complementary food & drinks
* Awards
* Cold plunge therapy by SWEATHOUZ
* Discounted recovery IV drips (pre-book required) and Free compression recovery boots by RESET WELLNESS LOUNGE
* Free massage from SPORTS MASSAGE & REHABILITATION
and much, much more!
ALL THE DETAILS:
* All riders receive a pair of free cycling socks as a momento when you pre-register.
* All riders may buy a newly designed 2026 Jean Heuschen Memorial Gran Fondo jersey for pre order only.
* Day of check in & registration will be in front of the Naples Cyclery [https://www.naplescyclery.com/] overhang starting at 7am.
* The course will not be marked, cue sheets will be available, however we strongly urge downloading the routes to your GPS device for the stages you will ride. Routes to come!
* 7:00am start time, or start when you want) All riders must be in before noon
* There will be 3 rest stops
* Full tech support with sag vehicles but bring what you need to take care of your bike.
* Routes for downloading: will be uploaded soon

We invite cyclists of all ages and skill levels to join in celebrating the life of Jean Heuschen and helping to support cycling safety awareness in Collier County, Florida. We encourage tax deductible donations of $25, $50 or $100 to the Jean Heuschen Cycling Safety Awareness Fund, administered by Naples Velo Cycling Alliance a 501(c)3. This Fund benefits our partners, Naples Pathways Coalition.
