Join us for the 6th Annual Poteet Strawberry 5K/1 Mile Walk & Mascot Dash, hosted by the TRiCiTy Road Warriors (TCRW), Farm to Familia & IAAP-where health, fitness and FUN come together for all ages and fitness levels!
Whether you walk, jog or run, this event is for everyone. We invite you to join us in celebrating The Gift of Movement/Life. We are a nonprofit organization, 501 (3). This event emphasizes the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through movement. At the start and finish of this race you will find yourself surrounded by great people, mascots and an energetic family-friendly atmosphere. The 1 mile walk will be one lap around the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds (PSFG). The 5K is an out and back course, which will start in the PSFG then out into the countryside where you will breathe in fresh air, peace and quiet and just enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Its a perfect way to celebrate the gift of movement-community, and health, as well as community incentives while fostering a fun and positive atmosphere for all participants. TCRW love making fitness FUN! How do we do that? We have door prizes, Finishers Medals, Event T-Shirt (Guaranteed size if registered by March 2, 2026), Mascots, a FUN atmosphere and more.

The main entrance to the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds will NOT be open to vehicles on race day, as it is part of the race route.
Please use the Lions Club Entrance for parking.
Amphion Road will be part of the race route and will be opened to vehicle traffic from 8:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m. Use caution if a vehicle approaches.
