Participants can take part in the virtual race anytime between October 10th and October 18th, choosing their own course and pace, making it easy for friends and family to join in from anywhere. The Aggie Pride 5K not only fosters community spirit but also supports scholarships for Engineering and Business students, with over $15,000 raised since its inception. High 5 Aggie Pride! Wow can you believe this is our is our 7th year and we can't thank you all enough for your support of this event that promotes health and wellness to kick start your GHOE weekend. This year we are back live in Barber Park and will also offer a virtual option for those unable to attend and would like to support. We hope you will set up a group meet up in your local areas to walk/run together. Let's continue to show support of the Aggie Pride 5K by registering, spreading the word, setting up a team.
All runners and walkers of all fitness levels are welcome. This race is for the young, the seasoned beginner, or advanced! Participation in this race unites us and centers us around our illustrious University, our college experiences, our friendships, and our rich foundation. We thank the staff and administration for keeping our students safe and pushing forward through tumultuous times to produce the next generation of Aggies, that will impact the world. We are grateful for those who recently joined in participating and those who have supported us since 2019. Your support has fostered scholarships for both Engineering and Business school students in excess of $15K.
In turn, we will continue to support our existing Aggie students!! This year, we want to provide even more assistance. Help us achieve an even higher goal this year! Virtual races do not have an official start line. Participants choose their own start day within the virtual race timeframe. Participants have the flexibility to create their own experience, while running virtually with others. Participants choose their own course or path at local park, greenway trail, or neighborhood. If you prefer indoors, runners and walkers can use a treadmill or indoor track. Feel free to meet up with other participants in your area or solo. It's completely up to you. Virtual race dates will be Friday Oct. 10- Saturday Oct. 18, 2025
