Roger's Race (Walk & Run 5K) is a free event open to the public. It is a partnered event put on by Modesto Moves Training Team and Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge (FHTC) located at 6643 Faith Home Road, Ceres. This is a fun run; however, a timing clock and timing chips will be used this year. Awards given for OVERALL 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Sponsored by Surgical Artistry and presented by Modesto Moves Training Team, together providing race guidance and runners/walkers to the event. We also donate 100% of all proceeds collected by the Moves organization to Faith Home Teen Challenge. FHTC is a faith based recovery program reaching out to men to show them how to get their lives back through a faith based concept. Whether you are faith based or not, there is a positive impact to the local community with the work that is being done at FHTC. Roger's Run was a dream of Roger Williams, a Modesto Moves walker, who passed away suddenly in July of 2017. Modesto Moves, along with FHTC, made the dream a reality in 2018. Roger's Run is his legacy to FHTC where he worked until the time of his death.

The event will include a pancake breakfast provided by FHTC (suggested $5/person donation), drawing prizes (no cost, bib number is your entry) and raffle prizes (tickets sold by Modesto Moves).
