Join us for a heartfelt and inspiring event, "A Pace for Petey," taking place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Tuscola, Douglas. This meaningful race aims to raise awareness about overdose and drug addiction, honoring the memory of Jordan "Petey" Scribner, who tragically lost his battle with addiction at just 20 years old. The event kicks off at the south parking lot of Tuscola High School, near Petey's final resting place, and culminates with a special lap around the TCHS football field, where he created unforgettable memories as both a football player and a track star.

This year, we are excited to introduce a new addition: Jake's Jog, a fun run for children aged 10 and under, honoring Jacob, Petey's brother, who also faced the challenges of substance use. Jake's Jog will consist of a single lap around the track, and every child will receive a participation medal, celebrating their efforts and the spirit of community. Come out to support this important cause, whether by participating in the race, cheering on the runners, or volunteering your time.
