We hope to have you join us for a Race to Remember, a race to help those in our community affected by Alzheimer's Disease. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a memorable 5K run/walk along some of Rome's most scenic pathways and bridges. RUN IT! WALK IT! ENJOY IT! Make plans to join us!

The theme again of this year's run is 'HEROES RUN' and we encourage you to DRESS UP as your favorite one and let's have some fun with this. We'll have the MUSIC pumping...so prepare to have some FUN!

COURSE
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE 5K COURSE (Route) CHANGE: Due to construction along our traditional route by the City of Rome recently, this years route will be the same one we used last year, in 2025. It is still ACCURATE and FAST!! The new course we are using this year travels along the beautiful Oostanaula River, as an out-and-back route utilizing the new trail near the Post Office. As in years past, it still starts and finishes at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk. The 5K race promises to be FLAT, FAST, and FUN!! PROFESSIONAL TIMING
In addition to a certified course--which is a Peachtree RR Qualifier--the race will be professionally-timed by _WIRE2WIRE RUNNING, LLC_, using MyLaps' R.F.I.D. technology...the same technology used to time the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, and Tour de France.

Ah yes, the coveted prize of every participant...The T-SHIRT! Designed by professional graphic designer Lamante S. Attaud--originally from New York--this comfort-soft T-Shirt will be the talk of the town.

Day-of-the-Race Registration will begin at 7:00am up until 20 min. before the race ($40 for 5K.....$30 for 1Mi. Walk). Day-of-Race Registration will take place in front entrance of the Courtyard Marriott Rome Riverwalk hotel (320 W. 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30161). Please Note: Day-of-Race registrants may not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
_PACKET PICK UP: ___PRE-REGISTRAITON PACKET PICK UP: Will be held Friday, June 26, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at '_Courtyard Marriott - Rome Riverwalk_' hotel (320 W. 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30161). If you are not able to make it Friday, you can also plan to pick up your packet Race Day morning beginning at 7:00 AM in front entrance of the Courtyard Marriott Rome Riverwalk hotel (320 W. 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30161). But please do try to make it by Friday to keep the lines short Saturday morning!
