May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a way to honor the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, learn about AAPI history and cultures, and amplify AAPI voices.
Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL) is partnering with Lexington HEY Runners Club to host this 5K Run 'n' Walk in Lexington. Please come and join us!
RACE DATE/TIME:
In-Person: Saturday May 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM
Children 10 years or under must be accomplished by an adult.
RACE LOCATION AND COURSE:
Start and finish in front of Lexington High School. Chip-timed Race. See the Course Map (map updated on 5/23/2023: Water station at 1.5 miles).
REGISTRATION:
Online Race Registration till May 17, 2024 - $35 (non-refundable)Race Day Registration - $40 cash or checkRace T-Shirt is free for the first 300 registrants.

AWARDS AND AFTER-RACE ACTIVITIES:
Gift cards will be awarded on-site after the race; Teams must have at least three members and only the top three scores are accounted for.
Overall: Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rdFamily Team*: 1st, 2nd, 3rdRace Team*: 1st, 2nd, 3rdAge Groups: 12 & under, 13 - 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, 1st place for each genderBiggest Family Team (If ties, then by top 3 runners' time)Biggest Race Team (If ties, then by top 3 runners' time)
After the 5K, there will be a Taste of AAPI featuring a selection of bites.
PARKING:
Lexington High Parking Lot (Enter from 251 Waltham Street). The front parking lot (Near the field house) is open for early comers. Additional parking is available in the back of LHS (Street Parking) at Park Dr and Track/Town Pool Parking lot (80 Worthen Road)
VOLUNTEERS:
Sign up to volunteer for the race. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt. Community Service hours are awarded to Lexington High School student volunteers.
