Spring comes early to the trails this year! Join us for the ABE LINCOLN TRAIL TREK 5K/10K, now moved to APRIL to give runners firmer footing, clearer views, and a better overall race experience after last years soggy conditions.
Set in scenic CARPENTER PARK, this trail race showcases some of Springfields most beautiful natural terrain. Runners will enjoy sweeping views of the Sangamon River, winding woodland trails, and peaceful river-bottom fields. Keep an eye out for deer, squirrels, and native birds as you make your way through this quietly stunning course.
