Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving festivities with the Adirondack Health 5K Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27th, 2025! This exciting event will take place in the picturesque Lake Placid, Essex, starting at 8:30 AM from the Beach House. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday, this flat 5K walk/run around Mirror Lake is perfect for participants of all ages.
Join us in making a difference, as all proceeds will benefit the Local Food Pantry and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund. With an expected turnout of over 600 participants, this year's Turkey Trot promises to be a fantastic community event. Be sure to check in on Wednesday, November 26th from 4-6 PM or on race day from 6:30-8 AM to pick up your bib and long-sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt. Don’t forget to bring three or more non-perishable food items to help those in need! Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, and if you can outpace the mystery Turkey Runner, you’ll earn some delicious bragging rights! Kids 10 and under can join the

Join us for Adirondack Health's 16th Annual Turkey Trot 2025! This flat 5K walk/run starts at 8:30 am on Thursday, November 27th (Thanksgiving Day) at the Beach House in Lake Placid, NY. ALL proceeds from the event will benefit the Local Food Pantry and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund.
Please join us...we are anticipating over 600 participants this year! ALL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A LONG-SLEEVE TURKEY TROT T-SHIRT!
Check in and pick up your bib/T-shirt Wednesday, Nov 26th at the Beach House in Lake Placid 4-6 p.m. OR Thursday, Nov 27th from 6:30-8am at the Beach House.
Please bring 3(or more) non-perishable food items!
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place overall male and female finishers. If you can "stuff the turkey," or, in other words, beat the mystery Turkey Runner to the finish line, you can receive bragging rights at your Thanksgiving table and an award(a yummy one)!

Kids 10 and under run/walk/stroll FREE and will receive a bib at packet pick-up! And ALL kids 10 and under will receive a prize at the finish line! No need to register them online UNLESS you would like them to receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt!
