This vibrant event honors the spirit of Alexis Thompson, promoting her legacy of giving and selflessness while supporting local children in need. Participants can choose to run or walk either the 5K (3.1 miles) or the 10K (6.2 miles) course, with options for runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes. Can't make it in person? Register for the virtual option and complete your race at your own pace, wherever you are!
By participating, you help ensure that local children receive vital resources, from food through the backpack program to scholarships for camps and clothing drives. JOIN US JUNE 7, 2025 FOR THE 9TH ANNUAL ALEXIS THOMPSON MEMORIAL 5K/10K.
Please join us for the 9th Annual Alexis Thompson Memorial 5K/10k. If you cannot join us in person, we encourage you to register for the virtual option and participate on your own time using your favorite route! We use this race to remember Alexis and share her spirit of giving and selflessness, we want to ensure our local children receive the resources they need and deserve including food at home through the backpack program, community clothing drives, scholarships to local camps and clubs, and other necessities we often take for granted. Help us remember Alexis by taking part in this event and continue her dreams of giving back to our community, and specifically, our children.
INDIVIDUAL 10k? Complete 6.2 miles.
INDIVIDUAL 5k? Complete 3.1 miles.
Runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are all welcome for both the 10K and 5k events.
VIRTUAL RUNNER or WALKER. You can run/walk your own "Alexis Thompson Memorial" 5K or 10K on your own schedule in your own hometown.

Not able to join us in person on June 7? Sign up as a virtual runner/walker to support our cause. Register by May 25 as a virtual runner/walker and we'll make arrangements (local pickup or ship if out of town) to get you your commemorative race T-shirt and race bib. Then you just complete your own 5K/10K on your own time/terms.
