Aloha for Life Run Kauai
Walk. Run. Heal. Hope.
We invite you to join us for the Aloha for Life Run, a 5K community event dedicated to raising awareness about youth mental health here on Kauai.
This isnt just about the miles its about showing up for our island, for our keiki, and for one another. Together, we will:
Honor our community by recognizing the real challenges facing Kauai teens.
Raise awareness about the alarming rise in youth depression, self-harm, and suicide.
Break the silence and stigma by encouraging open conversations about mental health.
Fuel hope by directly funding the launch of the Hope Fund a program that provides immediate support for local teens through therapy, fitness, cultural practices, and creative outlets.
Why It Matters on Kauai
1 in 3 Kauai high school students report feeling persistently sad or hopeless.
1 in 11 teens on our island attempts suicide each year.
Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for Hawaii youth ages 1524.
These numbers arent just statistics they represent friends, classmates, teammates, and 'ohana right here in our community.
What to Expect
5K Walk/Run: Open to all ages and abilities
Wellness Expo: Fitness, art, cultural healing, and healthy living demos
Speakers: Stories of hope, resilience, and resources for support
Resource Booths: Crisis line cards, counseling information, and local organizations ready to help
