Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun and fitness at the Amherst Skeleton Run on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, in the heart of Amherst, Lorain! This exciting event features a variety of race distances designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. Kick off the day at 7:00 AM with race day registration and packet pick-up at Steele Gym Lobby. The festivities include a 1/4 Mile Silly Run for kids in grades K-5 at 8:30 AM, followed by a 1/2 Mile Funny Run for 6th to 8th graders at 9:00 AM, and culminating with a thrilling 5K Run starting at 9:30 AM.
Join in the fun while supporting a great cause, as proceeds benefit RunAmherst.com. Participants in the 5K will enjoy chip timing, participation medals, and the first 300 registrants will receive gloves and Tek t-shirts. Plus, there are awards for top finishers in various categories, including special prizes for dog and stroller division runners!
