Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Amity Island Youth Running Club, taking place from May 18th to June 17th, 2026, in the beautiful Oak Bluffs, Dukes! Celebrating its 12th year, this exciting event is designed to introduce middle school students to the joys of cross country running. With a focus on fostering fitness, friendship, and outdoor fun, the program welcomes runners of all skill levels. Under the guidance of USATF certified coaches, participants will enhance their endurance and speed through age-appropriate distances, preparing them for an active summer. Runners also have the fantastic opportunity to gain racing experience by participating in local Summer 5Ks. Join us this spring and embark on a journey of athleticism, camaraderie, and personal growth!
Organiser's Description
In our 12th year, we are a year round nonprofit organization
dedicated to introducing middle schoolers to the basics of cross country running.
Many of our runners have gone on to run with the MVRHS cross country and track teams.
Join us and make new friends, improve your fitness and enjoy the outdoors!
All levels are welcome.
USATF certified coaches help runners increase their endurance and speed on age
appropriate distances.
Runners have the option to run with the team in local Summer 5Ks for racing experience.

OPENS 29 APROur 5 week spring session begins on Monday, May 18th, and runs until the end of the school year in June. Practices are every Monday and Wednesday, from 4:00 -5:00 pm.
