Participants can look forward to exciting awards, with overall and age group medals presented shortly after the race at approximately 10:15 AM. Awards will be given for the top three finishers in both male and female categories, as well as in 10-year age groups. All finishers will receive a medal to commemorate their achievement, and those who register by August 27, 2025, will also snag a stylish event t-shirt. AnMed Cannon is proud to announce they will be hosting a 5k run/walk at the AnMed Pavilion at the Pickens Doodle Park. This will be a community event you won't want to miss. This event is more than just a race. There will be a health fair sponsored by the AnMed Cannon Foundation focusing on healthy lifestyles.
The 5k will be held on a certified course and overall and age group awards will be handed out following the race. All participants in either event will receive finisher medals.
The 5k race will start promptly at 9:00am. Award ceremony should be around 10:15am after the last runner has completed the course. Awards will be 3 deep for overall M/F and Masters M/F. Age group awards will be given at 10 year intervals.
Packet Pick-up will be under the shelter at the Doodle Park in Pickens on Friday 9/05/25 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. and race morning from 7:30am-8:45am.
All runners who register by 8/27/25 will receive a tee shirt. After 8/27/25 tee shirts will not be available. Tee shirts must be picked up at packet pickup
Parking is available on E. Cedar Rock St and at City Works on Railroad St
