Join us for the Annal's Angels 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the beautiful community of Baldwinsville, Onondaga! This heartfelt event is dedicated to honoring the lives of two beloved sisters, Maryella and Elizabeth, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in 2020. The 5K will take place at Palmer Elementary, located at 7864 Hicks Road, and promises to be a day filled with love, remembrance, and community spirit.
Participants are encouraged to register by August 13th to secure a commemorative event shirt. Early packet pick-up will be available on August 28th from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Baldwinsville Public Library, with additional pick-up on the day of the event from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. In addition to the 5K, there will also be a Koala Krawl kids' fun run for children aged 10 and under, making this a perfect family outing. All proceeds from the event will support local charities, including Friends Forever Animal Rescue and the Baldwinsville Christmas Bureau. ON 9/3/2020, THE ANNAL FAMILY WAS IN A TRAGIC CAR ACCIDENT. THEIR DAUGHTERS, MARYELLA, 11, AND ELIZABETH, AGE 9, DID NOT SURVIVE THE ACCIDENT. THIS EVENT IS TO HONOR THE GIRLS AND THEIR ANGEL BIRTHDAYS AND BRING THE COMMUNITY THAT LOVES THEM TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL GO TO FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL RESCUE, THE BALDWINSVILLE CHRISTMAS BUREAU, AND ANNALS ANGELS. PAST PROJECTS INCLUDE THE RENOVATION OF THE BALDWINSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY CHILDRENS ROOM ESTABLISHING THE MARYELLA & ELIZABETHS CHILDRENS CORNER AND FULLY FUNDING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIPS IN EACH OF THE GIRLS NAMES.
