Join us for the Annal's Angels 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in beautiful Baldwinsville, Onondaga! This heartfelt event honors the lives of Maryella and Elizabeth Annal, two young sisters who were tragically lost in a car accident. The 5K will take place at Palmer Elementary School, located at 7864 Hicks Road, and promises to be a day filled with community spirit and remembrance.
Participants can register by August 24th to secure an event shirt, and packet pick-up will be available on Wednesday, September 2, from 4-7 PM at the Baldwinsville Public Library, as well as on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM. In addition to the 5K, young runners aged 10 and under can join the Koala Krawl fun run for just $12, which also includes a shirt. All proceeds from this event will support local charities focused on literacy and community welfare, including the Baldwinsville Christmas Bureau and Friends Forever Animal Rescue. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate the lives of two amazing girls, and make a positive impact in Central New York!

ON 9/3/2020, THE ANNAL FAMILY WAS IN A TRAGIC CAR CRASH ON THE NYS THRUWAY. THEIR DAUGHTERS, MARYELLA, 11, AND ELIZABETH, AGE 9, DID NOT SURVIVE THE ACCIDENT. THIS EVENT IS TO HONOR THE GIRLS AND BRING THE COMMUNITY THAT LOVES THEM TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL BE SHARED WITH SEVERAL COMMUNITY NOT FOR PROFITS AND ANNALS ANGELS, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CENTRAL NEW YORK COMMUNITY WITH A FOCUS ON LITERACY. DONATIONS WILL SHARED WITH THE BALDWINSVILLE CHRISTMAS BUREAU, FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL RESCUE, AND THE BALDWINSVILLE ROTARY BACK PACK PROGRAM ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR. THESE ARE CHARITIES MARYELLA AND ELIZABETH WOULD LOVE SUPPORTING!
