Join us for the Annal's Angels 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in beautiful Baldwinsville, Onondaga! This heartwarming event honors the memory of Maryella and Elizabeth Annal, two beloved sisters whose lives were tragically cut short in 2020. The community is invited to come together to celebrate their lives while supporting valuable local initiatives focused on literacy and community service.
The 5K will take place at Palmer Elementary School, located at 7864 Hicks Road, and offers an opportunity for both seasoned runners and casual walkers to participate. Kids aged 10 and under can also join in the fun with the Koala Krawl, a special kids' fun run for just $12, which includes a shirt. Be sure to register by August 13th to secure your event shirt! Packet pick-up will be available on August 28th at the Baldwinsville Public Library from 4-7 PM and on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at Palmer Elementary. Let's lace up our shoes and make a difference in our community together!

Organiser's Description
ON 9/3/2020, THE ANNAL FAMILY WAS IN A TRAGIC CAR CRASH ON THE NYS THRUWAY. THEIR DAUGHTERS, MARYELLA, 11, AND ELIZABETH, AGE 9, DID NOT SURVIVE THE ACCIDENT. THIS EVENT IS TO HONOR THE GIRLS AND THEIR ANGEL BIRTHDAYS AND BRING THE COMMUNITY THAT LOVES THEM TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL BE SHARED WITH SEVERAL COMMUNITY NOT FOR PROFITS AND ANNALS ANGELS, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CENTRAL NEW YORK COMMUNITY WITH A FOCUS ON LITERACY. LAST YEAR, DONATIONS WERE SHARED WITH THE BALDWINSVILLE CHRISTMAS BUREAU, FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL RESCUE, AND THE BALDWINSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY. PAST PROJECTS INCLUDE THE RENOVATION OF THE BALDWINSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY CHILDRENS ROOM ESTABLISHING THE MARYELLA & ELIZABETHS CHILDRENS CORNER AND FULLY FUNDING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIPS IN EACH OF THE GIRLS NAMES.
