This heartwarming event honors the lives of Maryella and Elizabeth Annal, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident. The 5K is not just a race; it's a celebration of community, love, and remembrance. Gather your friends and family to participate in this uplifting event while supporting local organizations focused on literacy and community welfare.
The race will take place at Palmer Elementary, located at 7864 Hicks Road. Be sure to register by August 20th to secure your event shirt! Packet pickup will be available on September 3rd from 4-7 PM at Baldwinsville Public Library, and also on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at Palmer Elementary. Don't forget to check out the Koala Krawl, a fun run for kids aged 10 and under for only $12, which also includes a shirt! Let’s come together to celebrate the memories of Maryella and Elizabeth while supporting meaningful initiatives in Central New York.

Organiser's Description
ON 9/3/2020, THE ANNAL FAMILY WAS IN A TRAGIC CAR CRASH ON THE NYS THRUWAY. THEIR DAUGHTERS, MARYELLA, 11, AND ELIZABETH, AGE 9, DID NOT SURVIVE THE ACCIDENT. THIS EVENT IS TO HONOR THE GIRLS AND THEIR ANGEL BIRTHDAYS AND BRING THE COMMUNITY THAT LOVES THEM TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL BE SHARED WITH SEVERAL COMMUNITY NOT FOR PROFITS AND ANNALS ANGELS, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CENTRAL NEW YORK COMMUNITY WITH A FOCUS ON LITERACY. LAST YEAR, DONATIONS WERE SHARED WITH THE BALDWINSVILLE CHRISTMAS BUREAU, FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL RESCUE, AND THE BALDWINSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY. PAST PROJECTS INCLUDE THE RENOVATION OF THE BALDWINSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY CHILDRENS ROOM ESTABLISHING THE MARYELLA & ELIZABETHS CHILDRENS CORNER AND FULLY FUNDING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIPS IN EACH OF THE GIRLS NAMES.
