Join us for the 19th Annual W.A.R. (Walk and Run) Against Ovarian Cancer, taking place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Framingham, Middlesex. This exciting event features a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk designed to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and support for local patients and their families. With a USATF Certified Course, participants of all ages, including families and their furry friends, are invited to take part in this inspiring day.
Registration begins at 9:00 AM, with a warm welcome speech and team acknowledgments set for 10:15 AM, followed by the official start of the run/walk at 10:30 AM. After crossing the finish line, stick around for a delightful picnic on the school grounds, complete with a playground for the kids and fun face painting activities throughout the day. Plus, don’t miss the chance to win prizes for top individual and team fundraisers! Join us in the fight against ovarian cancer and help make a difference in the community. This annual fundraiser helps fund our mission of supporting local patients and their families, fund critical research, and provide education and awareness about this disease.
Be part of the movement to raise awareness and funds against this silent killer - because together we CAN make a difference!!!
Families and their four legged friends are always welcome!
This will be a USATF Certified Course.
Online registration will close at noon on June 12th. Day of registration will start at 9 am on June 14th.
9:00 am to 10:00 am Sign In and Registration/Pick Up Tee Shirts/Get Snacks
9:00 am Face Painting starts!!!
10:15 am Welcome Speech and Team Acknowledgements
10:30 am 5k Run/Walk Starts
11:00 am to 1:00 pm - Stay after the walk for a picnic on the school grounds! There is a grassy area to sit and relax as well as a playground for the kids in the back!
We will have face painting available all day as well.
