Apex Race to Give

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We are excited to announce the return for the fourth year of the Race To Give in partnership to be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. This year we are partnering with three non profit organizations and will be adding a level of friendly competition to this charitable event. DURING REGISTRATION YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PICK A TEAM, THERE ARE THREE TEAMS AVAILABLE AND YOUR SELECTION HELPS THE TEAM (NON PROFIT) EARN MORE OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THIS RACE. Each non profit involved will be receiving funds from this event but the fun part is that you the runners decide what percentage of fund go to each non profit based on your team selection. The way that this will work is once the race is over let's say we have 250 participants and 100 of them chose Team A, 90 of chose Team B, and 60 chose Team C. In this example Team A would get 40% of the proceeds, Team B would 36% of the proceeds and Team C would receive 24% of the proceeds.

The 5K and 1 mile event will take place at Lakes Park and the 5K event will be a chip timed. We hope that you will bring the whole family and join us in a fun and engaging competition to support one of three great non profits!

AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES FOR THE 5K:

Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd

AGE DIVISION STRUCTURE:

(Age group awards are based on net chip time. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Male and Female will be awarded)

0 to 9 | 10 to 19 | 20 to 29 | 30 to 39 | 40 to 49 | 50 to 59 | 60 to 69 | 70 plus



PARKING:

Parking will be at Lakes Park at 7330 Gladiolus Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33908. We will be using shelter A1 and D1 for all race functions.



PACKET PICK-UP/LATE REGISTRATIONS:

Friday, January 10th at Fleet Feet Bell Tower from 4:00pm-6:00pm
