Get ready for an exciting season of competitive running with the Appleseeds Cross Country team, kicking off on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Allen! This engaging cross country program is designed for kids ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, welcoming all students from local schools as well as homeschooled children.
Appleseeds offers three distinct age groups: elementary school athletes will tackle a thrilling 1-mile race, middle school participants will race a challenging 3K, and high school runners will take on a 5K course. With practices scheduled every Monday and Wednesday from August 11 through October 1, 2025, young athletes will develop their skills and build camaraderie under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Participants can look forward to a series of exciting races throughout the season, including the Eel River Otter Classic, the Wildcat Classic, and the New Haven Invitational, among others. Each member will receive a team singlet and shorts, an Appleseeds t-shirt, and special discounts on running shoes. Join us for an unforgettable cross country experience that fosters teamwork, fitness, and fun!

Organiser's Description
Appleseeds Cross Country is a competitive cross country racing team. Our team is open to kids going into Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. We compete in several meets throughout the course of the season, which are outlined below. Appleseeds welcomes kids from all schools in the area as well as kids who are homeschooled.
We have 3 age groups: elementary school, middle school, and high school. Elementary athletes will race 1 mile, middle schoolers will race 3k, and high schoolers will race 5k.
The race schedules will differ between age groups. Please make sure you register for the appropriate level based on your child's age. The grades are denoted in parentheses next to the name of the level.
