Organiser's Description
We are excited to announce that this year we will again have honor bibs. These bibs say "I'm running in honor of..." and you will be able to write in the name of the fallen hero you would like to run in honor of. The first 100 participants will also receive a memorial bracelet in honor of an Arkansas Fallen Hero.
If you are participating in the in person 5K event, you will need to be able to maintain a 10 minute/mile pace for the 5K. This is not a race. Rather, it is a memorial run where participants run as a group to collectively honor the fallen heroes who were individually honored over the weekend. Runners will need to report to the state Capitol on Sunday, March 15th by 1:00pm to be transported to the start of the run. The run will conclude at the state Capitol at approximately 2:15 pm and will be followed by a closing ceremony at 2:30pm.

Runners must be able to maintain a 10 minute/mile pace for the 3 mile run. If you cannot maintain this pace we encourage you to sign up for the virtual event and run at your own pace and location. We would love to have you join us at the Capitol to welcome the runners and honor the families of our fallen heroes. Post your finish picture and the name of the fallen hero you ran in honor of on social media using#arftf2025. All participants will receive a shirt* and bib. The first 100 runners to sign up will also receive a memorial bracelet with the name and biographical information of an Arkansas Fallen Hero. *Shirt deadline is March 1, 2025 -
