Get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in style at the 25th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025! This exciting event takes place in the picturesque city of Asheville, Buncombe, and features two race distances: a 5K and the fun-filled Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run. Join fellow runners and families for a joyful day of fitness and community spirit, while supporting a great cause—proceeds will benefit MANNA Food Bank.
Online registration opens on March 31, 2025, with early packet pickup available on Wednesday, November 26, from 3 PM to 6 PM. Race day registration will kick off at Pack Square Park from 7 AM to 8:30 AM, just before the starting gun fires on Woodfin Street in front of the Downtown YMCA. Whether you're racing the 5K for $45 (with a shirt) or hopping in the 1-Mile Fun Run for $25 (with a shirt), there's something for everyone! Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and gratitude in beautiful Asheville!

With shirt: $45 for the 5K or $25 for 1 miler
No shirt: $25 for the 5k or $10 for the 1 miler
The 25th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 27, 2025. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 26 from 3pm until 6pm, location TBD. Race day registration is available. Keep in mind shirts aren't guaranteed during late registration. IF NOT REGISTERED BY NOVEMBER 1, SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St. in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park. Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/PETS are allowed. The course is not completely closed so this is for safety purposes. Race timing will be provided by Right On Time Productions. 2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. To the top of the hill, turn right on E. Chestnut St.
4. Turn left on Charlotte
5. Follow Charlotte St to Evelyn Place, turn left
6. Follow Evelyn place, crossing Edwin/Kimberly to Murdock St, turn left onto Murdock
7. Follow Murdock to Hillside St, tun right
8. Hillside to N. Liberty, turn left.
9. Follow Liberty, crossing Chestnut St to Orange St, turn left
10. Follow Orange to Central Ave., turn right onto Central
11. Follow Central Ave down to Woodfin St, turn left on Woodfin
12. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle
