Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 25th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025! This exciting event takes place in the heart of Asheville, Buncombe, and features two fantastic race options: the 5K and the family-friendly Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run. Participants will kick off their holiday celebrations by racing through the scenic streets of Downtown Asheville, starting on Woodfin Street in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishing at the vibrant Pack Square Park.
Make sure to register early to secure your event shirt, as sizes are limited! Early packet pickup is available on Wednesday, November 26, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Fred Anderson Subaru, with race day registration and packet pickup happening from 7 AM to 8:30 AM at Pack Square Park. Portions of the proceeds from this joyful event will benefit MANNA Food Bank, making your participation a wonderful way to give back to the community. Wednesday, November 26 | 3pm - 6pm at _Fred Anderson Subaru _located at 110 S Bear Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28806. Packet pickup is a bagless event in order to cut down on waste and single-use plastics. If you are picking up for multiple runners, consider bringing a bag to secure your items.

The 25th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 27, 2025. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 26 from 3pm until 6pm, at Fred Anderson Subaru (110 S Bear Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28806). Race day registration is available. Keep in mind shirts aren't guaranteed during late registration. IF NOT REGISTERED BY NOVEMBER 1, SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St. in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park. Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/PETS are allowed. The course is not completely closed so this is for safety purposes. Race timing will be provided by Right On Time Productions. 2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. To the top of the hill, turn right on E. Chestnut St.
4. Turn left on Charlotte
5. Follow Charlotte St to Evelyn Place, turn left
6. Follow Evelyn place, crossing Edwin/Kimberly to Murdock St, turn left onto Murdock
7. Follow Murdock to Hillside St, turn right (water stop on Murdock)
8. Hillside to N. Liberty, turn left.
9. Follow Liberty, crossing Chestnut St to Orange St, turn left
10. Follow Orange to Central Ave., turn right onto Central
11. Follow Central Ave down to Woodfin St, turn left on Woodfin
12. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle
13. Turn right onto College St.
14. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park
