April is National Autism Awareness Month! This month is about increasing an understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism.
This year we want to offer a Fun Walk on Saturday, April 4th from 10 am 12 pm at Winkler Park.
You can register for free or there is a $10 donation option to participate, which will enter you in a raffle! T-shirts are also available for pre-sale. We cannot guarantee there will be shirts to purchase the day of the event. Last day to purchase is Sunday, March 15th.
Proceeds will be used to purchase sensory bags for Highland Recreation Center, and the rest of the proceeds will go towards purchasing supplies for We Rock the Spectrum-Hickory to be able to continue to run successful programs for the community!
If you are unable to participate but would still like to support the cause, visit the more tab and click "store" to purchase a t-shirt!
