Please join us for the 25th anniversary Autism Speaks 5K in Potomac, Maryland on July 4, 2025! Organized by dedicated volunteers, this event has raised over $5 million since its inception in 2000. What better way to start your holiday than running with us?

Autism Speaks is dedicated to creating an inclusive world for all individuals with autism throughout their lifespan. Because of people like YOU, we do this through advocacy, services, supports, research and innovation, and advances in care for autistic individuals and their families.

Every participant registered to attend the event will receive a commemorative event shirt and finisher medal to show off your accomplishment and support for a kinder world.

PACKET PICK-UP
We strongly encourage all participants to pick up their race packets in advance to save time and skip the lines on race morning.

Participants may pick up a packet for a friend.
T-shirt exchanges will only be accommodated after the race if the inventory allows.

REGISTRATION OPEN & ACTIVITIES BEGIN: 6:45 a.m.

Opening Ceremony: 7:30 a.m.

5K Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
Please arrive at the start line by 7:45 AM. Any runners arriving more than 7 minutes
after the official start risk not having their start time recorded.

1-MILE WALK START TIME: 8:10 a.m.

AWARDS CEREMONY: 9:30 a.m.

VIRTUAL RUNNERS:
Cant be with us in Potomac, MD on July 4th? Participate wherever you might be with our "Virtual Runner" option. All virtual participants will receive a commemorative event shirt mailed directly to you. If you would like to receive an event finisher medal be sure to register through the website with the "Virtual Runner - Medal Included" option.

Register before June 4th to receive your t-shirt prior to the event. Any registrations after June 4th will receive the t-shirt after the event.
