Join us on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at the vibrant Legacy Park in Venice, Sarasota, for a day filled with laughter, running, and community spirit. Whether you choose to run, walk, skip, or push a stroller, this event is all about having a great time! The festivities kick off with a chip-timed start at 8 am, ensuring that everyone gets to experience the joy of movement while being cheered on by fellow Fools.
Celebrate your achievement with a unique Foolish finisher's medal, and enjoy delicious snacks provided by Chick-fil-A Pelican Plaza to satisfy those post-race cravings. Don't forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, April 4th, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Gulf Breeze Apparel, or on race morning from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. And if you can't join us in person, don’t worry! Run, walk, skip, or ride in a stroller, THIS is the most Foolish fun you will have ALL year at a race event!!
At the Fools Run, the only thing we take seriously is HOW MUCH FUN you are going to have!
We are SUPER excited to be back at our home location- Maxine Barritt Park!!! Just kidding!!! Casperson Beach is destroyed!! Well be at Legacy Park/ Train Station!

The run will be held April 5th, 2025 at Legacy Park, with a chip timed start at 8am!
Your finishing time will be texted or emailed to you based on what you have set up through RunSignUp, so make sure you put the right info, like yours, not your ex's cousin's info, they don't care how fast you are. But do run fast, because you know that those Fools over at Gulf Breeze Apparel are sure to come up with some sort of baller awards, so be ready to run as fast as your little legs will go! And of course, ALL finishers WILL receive a Foolish finisher's medal! Because who wants to run a race and not get a medal?! We're totally going to feed you and give you some drinks as well, Chick-fil-A Pelican Plaza will be filling those grumbly tummies, yummmmm.
Can't make it out to run with us in person, but you still want the awesome race swag?! Join our Virtual event and we'll mail you the swag approximately 2 weeks after the live event.
Packet pick- Friday 4/4- 3pm-7pm at Gulf Breeze Apparel, 606 Cypress Ave Venice.
Packets will also be available for pickup on race morning 7:00am - 7:45am under the pavilion.
