With a registration fee of just $20 for adults and $10 for teens aged 13-17, and free entry for kids 12 and under, it's an affordable way to spend a Saturday morning while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the event benefit the Back 2 Basics ministry, which provides joy-filled experiences for children in foster care and those in inner-city areas. Come out and enjoy a beautiful 5k trail run on the 50 acre campus of StoneBridge church. Additionally, bring your kids with you for our 'Chase the Gator' (John Deere Gator that is) Kids race right before the 5k (top three kids will receive medals and a small prize).
The recently redesigned, 1-lap course winds along some wooded trails and beside a small lake. Participants that are 12 and under are free and the cost is $20/adult and $10 for 13-17 year olds. This race benefits Back 2 Basics ministry [http://b2bministry.com/] which is a non-profit bringing joy to children in foster care and those in the inner city by providing family-like experiences for them, including birthday, Christmas, and Easter parties and special camps for young men and women to make sure they know they are not forgotten.
