Participants can look forward to an exhilarating 1-mile course starting in front of the 1st Baptist Church and finishing at The Open Door.
With awards for the top three male and female finishers, as well as the top five runners with dogs, the competition will be fierce! A special recognition awaits the first First Responder to cross the finish line in uniform, and age group awards will be distributed at 10-year intervals. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a finisher medal, making this event memorable for all. Enjoy music from The Jaguar 4 while you celebrate your achievement. Organiser's Description
We are back for the fourth year for this race/walk. There will be 2 categories, runners/walkers and runners/walkers with dogs. Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners and the top five runners with dogs regardless of gender. A special award will be given to the 1st First Responder to cross the line in uniform. Age group awards will be given out at 10 year intervals. All participants will receive a finisher medal. It is a dog friendly event for a good cause and should not be missed. Feel free to bring your well behaved dog with you.
The race will begin in downtown Pickens across the street from Main St. in front of the 1st Baptist Church.
