The races kick off behind the auditorium in the Van Wezel parking lot, with the 10K taking participants over the bridge to Bird Key Park and beyond, while the 5K provides a shorter, equally scenic route. Runners can look forward to a festive atmosphere, complete with water stops every 1.5 miles, and the first 200 participants will receive fun goodies such as hats or visors and socks. Start behind the auditorium,, Van Wezel parking lot
Run to and over the bridge, to Bird Key Park, keep going west almost to St Armand Circle, turn around) will be marked, back to Bird Key Park, go under the bridge to the south side, over the bridge, Hart's Landing Bait Shop under the bridge to the other side, to the Ritz, and back to the start.
