Get ready for the Bacon Run in Sarasota on Sunday, October 13th, 2024! While the event was initially canceled due to hurricane damages, it has been rescheduled for this exciting date. The packet pick up will start at 6:30 am on race morning, with both 5k and 10k courses available for participants. The 10k course will take you on a scenic route from the auditorium to Bird Key Park, St Armand Circle, and back. The 5k course offers a shorter but just as enjoyable run over the bridge and back. With water stops every 1.5 miles, hats or visors, socks, bib snaps for the first 200 participants, and bacon waiting at the finish line, this event promises to be a fun and memorable one. Awards will be given for overall and age group winners, so lace up your running shoes and join the Bacon Run for a fantastic race experience!

Start behind the auditorium,, Van Wezel parking lot
Run to and over the bridge, to Bird Key Park, keep going west almost to St Armand Circle, turn around) will be marked, back to Bird Key Park, go under the bridge to the south side, over the bridge, Hart's Landing Bait Shop under the bridge to the other side, to the Ritz, and back to the start.
