Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the Band on the Run 5K, taking place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in beautiful Avon, Hendricks! This vibrant event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels, inviting participants to walk, run, or do a bit of both while supporting the Avon Marching Black and Gold. The race will kick off at 8:00 AM at the Washington Township Park amphitheater, conveniently located across from the splash pad.

Participants can look forward to a fantastic experience, complete with a stylish race shirt and a shiny medal included in the registration fee. To enhance the community spirit, wear your medal or shirt to Community Night that evening for a chance to enter for free! Don’t forget to arrive early for shirt pick-up, which starts at 7:30 AM at the registration tent. Strollers and pets are welcome, so bring the whole family along! Be sure to register by August 2 to guarantee your shirt and medal – registration will remain open until the start of the race, but items will not be guaranteed after that date.
