Join us for the Baraga County Suicide Prevention WARR;OR WALK on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, in the beautiful town of L'Anse, Baraga. This uplifting event aims to raise awareness about mental health and provide vital resources for suicide prevention within our community. Whether you're personally affected by depression, anxiety, or mental illness, or you’re supporting someone who is, you are not alone in this fight.
The day kicks off with registration from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a warm welcome and inspiring guest speaker at 10:00 a.m. A heartfelt memorial bubble release at 10:30 a.m. will honor those we've lost, leading up to the main event: a 2-mile WARR;OR WALK starting at 11:00 a.m. This is more than just a walk; it's a powerful statement that we are united in our mission to support one another. Plus, 100% of the proceeds will remain in the local area to fund essential suicide prevention programs. Come together with us to make a difference and show that in Baraga County, we stand strong as warriors against mental health challenges!

Struggling with depression, anxiety or mental illness is not easy, nor is losing a loved one to suicide. Each day can be a struggle and we fightlike warriors. However, in this community, we never fight alone! Whether you suffer personally, or support a family member, friend or colleague who struggles, we invite you to attend the Baraga County Suicide Prevention WARR;OR WALK. Help raise awareness and funds to provide necessary suicide prevention resources and programs for our community.
