Get ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style at Barley's St. Patrick's Day 5K & Kids Dash on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Knoxville, Knox! This exciting event marks the 12th anniversary of a beloved local tradition, featuring a fun-filled day for the whole family. The Kids Dash kicks off at 2:00 PM, inviting young runners to enjoy a 1/2 mile untimed adventure down and back on Jackson Ave. Then, the main event, the 5K race, starts at 2:30 PM, offering participants a chance to run for a great cause while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
Participants in the 5K will receive a stylish T-shirt, a finisher's medal, and access to an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet provided by Barley’s, along with two complimentary drinks (for those 21+). Plus, everyone can look forward to exciting swag bags and free photo downloads from the event photographer. For the little ones, the Kids Dash includes a fun T-shirt, a finisher's ribbon, and a surprise gift! All proceeds go directly to Emily's Power For A Cure [https://www.emilyspowerforacure.com/www]. EPFAC is a foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness for neuroblastoma research. It's also a group that we hold very dear to us. Strollers and dogs are welcome (at your own risk) on the course and dress to impress! We have our coveted Carrie Daugherty Spirit Award up for grabs again this year! **Please note that since this course is on an open street, headphones are discouraged.**
