Join us for the exciting Barnie's Place 5K Race: Go the Extra Mile on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, at Cosmo Park in Columbia, Boone, Missouri! This fun-filled event invites you to run a scenic 3.1+ mile course while supporting Barnie's Feline Rescue and their mission to assist community cats. The race kicks off at 8 A.M., following registration at 7 A.M. at Lamb Shelter (#28 on the park map).
Bring your furry friends along, as friendly dogs and cats are welcome to join participants on the racecourse or cheer from the sidelines. Just remember, all pets must be on a leash and under control. Enjoy the uplifting atmosphere, complete with the National Anthem sung right before the race starts. While there will be no official timing, a time clock will be set up at the finish line, and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a great day outdoors!

GO THE EXTRA MILE WITH BARNIE'S FELINE RESCUE IN THIS 3.1+ COURSE AT COSMO PARK IN COLUMBIA, MISSOURI! THIS WILL HELP SUPPORT THEIR MISSION IN HELPING OUT THE COMMUNITY CATS.

RACE START TIME: 8 A.M.
FRIENDLY DOGS (AND CATS) ARE WELCOME TO TAG ALONG WITH PARTICIPANTS DURING THE RACE OR ON THE SIDE LINES. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PETS NEED TO BE ON A LEASH AND UNDER THE CONTROL OF THEIR HANDLER AT ALL TIMES.
