PACKET PICK-UP

- Friday, October 23rd, 2pm-6pm at Berkeley Sports Basement (2727 Milvia St.)

- Race morning pick-up is also available starting at 6:00am at the Cal Tri tent at the race site

- Friends and family can pick up your packet for you. Please have them bring your photo ID (a photo is also ok).

- Sports Basement discount: use the attached flyer for a participant Sports Basement discount, valid in-store and online, if you need any last-minute supplies.

- Timing chips: your packet includes a timing chip, with instructions printed on the envelope. Please read them carefully when you pick up your packet. Your chip must be returned at the finish line, and unreturned chips are charged $65 each.

GENERAL INFO

- Draft Legal: no aero or TT bikes, road bikes only. Please remove any aero bars. This race is meant for more advanced racers, so if you would like to transfer your registration to the Classic Sprint, feel free to send us an email!

- On all bikes: NO mirrors or glass of any kind are allowed, both handlebars must have secure bar end plugs.

- Draft-legal rules apply for the Mixed Team Relay, so no TT bikes allowed. The lap-out rule won't be enforced, so if you get lapped, you can still finish.

- MOUNT AFTER the mount line and DISMOUNT BEFORE the dismount line. Volunteers will give warnings ahead of each line.

- Keep your helmet buckled until your bike is racked. Do not remove your helmet straps while in transition.

- NO DIVING at the swim start or anywhere in the water.

- Swim caps will be provided, but please bring an extra in case of a swim cap breaking/tearing.

- Water temperature is expected to be around 60^0F, so we recommend wearing wetsuits. USAT wetsuit guidelines are found in section 3.4 of the Multisport Competition Rules. Wetsuits are required in water temperatures of 60.6^0F and below.

- After the race, volunteers will check athletes out of transition. Please show volunteers your marked number and your matching bib number to collect your bike.



EVENT PARKING

- Parking passes are $20 for the event lot close to transition [https://maps.app.goo.gl/fcVCBYh7d9ihVm266]. Event parking is LIMITED, so please carpool! Passes are available at packet pick-up and on race day.

- Additional parking is available at Berkeley's Aquatic Park [https://maps.app.goo.gl/Up63Bb6Cm3xFB26b9], 0.4 miles from transition.



WETSUIT SERVICE

- Martin from TCMTriSquad will have triathlon wetsuits available to rent to participants on race day!
