The festivities kick off on Saturday, June 27th, with packet pick-up from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harvest Tide Steakhouse, allowing you to gear up for the big day ahead.
On race day, enjoy live packet pick-up starting at 6:30 AM, followed by pre-race announcements at 7:00 AM, and then it's off to the races as the Firecracker 5k Walk/Run begins! As you dash toward the finish line, remember that all donations benefit the Bethany Beach 4th of July Celebration, making this event not only a fun challenge but also a great way to give back to the community. Please note that for safety reasons, certain items like strollers (except baby jogging strollers) and pets will not be permitted on the course. Join us for a fantastic day filled with community spirit, fitness, and festive fun!

**IMPORTANT** No shirts or packets will be mailed. If you are unable to attend after registering, please make arrangements for someone else to pick up your shirt.
In consideration of the safety of all participants, NO HAND CYCLES, STROLLERS (Other than Baby Jogging Strollers), BABIES IN CARRIERS/BACKPACKS, IN-LINE SKATES, SKATEBOARDS, BICYCLES OR ANIMALS ON LEASHES will be allowed on the course. This will be strictly enforced.
The Firecracker 5k may be cancelled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Hurricane Watch or Warning; Tropical Storm Watch or Warning; Extreme thunderstorms and lightning in the vicinity of the race, Flash Flood Watch or Warnings in the area of the race. Such conditions will not result in refunding of any race entry fees or future event credits.
