Join us for the 12th Annual Big Bear Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the stunning Big Bear Lake in San Bernardino! This exciting event kicks off the holiday season with a festive 3-mile fun run or walk along the picturesque paved Rathbun Creek Trail, which includes a special lap through the Moonridge Zoo. With a new location at the lively Dank Donuts, this year’s Turkey Trot promises to be the biggest and best yet!
Participants can look forward to a morning filled with fun, starting with registration at 8 AM, followed by a Holiday Warmup Yoga session and the 3-mile run at 9:30 AM. After the race, celebrate with the Danksgiving party, featuring live holiday music and a beer garden! Don't miss the chance to win awards in various age categories and show off your creativity in the costume contest. With early bird registration available, this is an event where fitness meets festive cheer, and all proceeds support local food banks. We're moving locations! After a decade at Meadow Park we're taking advantage of the new Moonridge Cooridor area with a lively Start/Finish at Dank Donuts, a run that follows the Rathbun Creek, and a lap through the Moonridge Zoo. This is going to be our biggest and best Turkey Trot yet!
Things we are bringing back from year's past... Christmas Ornament Finisher Goods!
Things we aren't changing.. Holiday Yoga Warmup, Costume Contest, and Pumpkin Pie Aid Station!
Some new additions.. Danksgiving, our festive after party including Live Holiday Music and Beer Garden!
